EPIC Recovery is committed to empowering individuals to achieve long-term recovery from addiction through personalized, peer-supported care. We are currently seeking a dedicated Addiction Recovery Coach to facilitate weekly one-on-one sessions as part of our comprehensive recovery programming.
This is a unique opportunity to guide and support individuals on their recovery journey, helping them develop the tools and strategies needed to create a fulfilling, substance-free life.
Location: London, Ontario
Job Type: Part-Time Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly one-on-one coaching sessions with clients as part of their recovery program.
Provide ongoing support, encouragement, and accountability tailored to each client’s goals.
Collaborate with clients to develop personalized recovery strategies and action plans.
Encourage clients to explore emotions and develop healthy coping mechanisms to navigate challenges.
Maintain thorough session notes and adhere to all confidentiality and ethical standards.
Communicate effectively with the EPIC Recovery team to ensure consistent, high-quality client care.
Foster a positive, non-judgmental, and empowering environment for clients.
Qualifications:
Experience in addiction recovery coaching is a must.
Certification as a Recovery Coach or equivalent training in addiction recovery (preferred).
Lived experience in recovery is highly valued but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and client-centered approach.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Commitment to EPIC Recovery’s mission of reducing stigma and supporting sustainable recovery.
Must have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check
