Position Overview:
As the Intake & Admissions Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of EPIC Recovery. You will manage the intake and admissions process, ensuring a seamless experience for clients as they navigate their journey toward recovery. You will work closely with the executive director and sales team. You will be the first contact for clients and complete consultations. The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate understanding of mental health and addiction, combined with strong administrative skills and a proactive, sales-driven approach. In addition, processing payments and securing funding and insurance claims will be crucial parts of this role.

Intake Coordinator Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the admissions and intake process for prospective clients, including initial screenings, consultations, and assessments.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, families, and referral sources, providing guidance and support throughout the process.

  • Collaborate with the executive director of EPIC Recovery and clinical teams to ensure smooth transitions from inquiry to admission, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of mental health, addiction, and the services offered by EPIC Recovery.

  • Handle clerical and administrative duties related to intake, including maintaining accurate records and managing schedules.

  • Work closely with insurance providers to verify coverage and manage billing processes.

  • Engage in outreach efforts to build relationships with referral organizations and promote the benefits of our programs.

  • Participate in sales initiatives to increase client admissions and actively advocate for the services offered by EPIC Recovery.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in mental health, addiction, or healthcare administration, with a strong understanding of intake and admissions processes.

    • Knowledge of insurance and billing practices within healthcare or addiction services.

    • Strong clerical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic approach to client interactions.

    • A sales-driven mindset with a passion for helping individuals access the support they need.

    • Experience in customer service, intake coordination, or similar roles is an asset.

    • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

    • Must have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check
